Archery Tournament 2025

On October 11, 2025, we organized the 13th annual archery tournament (in its modern history), held in a medieval spirit and dedicated to so-called primitive bows. Once again, the weather was kind to us this year – it stayed dry and warm throughout the day, and even the sun made an appearance in the afternoon, allowing the tournament to pass quickly and pleasantly.

This year, a total of 21 participants gathered. We welcomed our loyal regulars, a few complete newcomers, and several spectators.

And what did we shoot at? The twelve disciplines were thematically divided into three categories, mostly in 3D format or with various handicaps:
hunting disciplines (5 targets),
combat disciplines (5 targets),
and two historical disciplines under the title “English Longbow.”

We enjoyed a wonderful day with bows in hand, followed by a pleasant evening celebration. In addition to the overall scoring, we also evaluated winners of individual categories. However, the main prize and tournament trophy belonged to the overall winner – the archer who achieved the highest total score.

This year, phenomenal shooting was demonstrated by Dalibor of Kozojedy, who, for the first time in the tournament’s entire history, claimed victory in all partial categories and thus earned the complete set of honorary titles:
Master of the Longbow – “Robin Hood”,
Best Warrior – “Attila”,
and Best Hunter – “Goddess Artemis.”

Naturally, he also became the overall champion, so all that remains is to congratulate him and award him the honorary title of “King of the Elves.” 🙂

The 13th edition of the tournament was traditionally concluded with an opulent shared feast prepared according to historical recipes by our Mr. František, who once again delivered an outstanding performance.

We firmly believe that next year we will organize the 14th edition in a similar spirit and look forward to strong participation (you may even look forward to a small spring pre-tournament).

We sincerely thank everyone who attended and hope no one regretted coming – including the pleasant evening spent over good food and drink.

The complete tournament results are available here.
